Taiwo Oluleye, FCIS, graduated in 1987 with a BSc Economics degree from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Kwara State and an MSc in Global Management from the University of Salford, UK. She is a Corporate Governance Professional and a Certified Chartered Secretary and Administrator. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN), Taiwo has over 36 years of extensive private sector experience cutting across Banking, ICT, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Economic Development having trained both in Nigeria and the UK.
She is a lady of monumental achievements and proven track-records. As Chief Executive Officer of PAN Nigeria, Nigeria’s foremost automotive assemblers, she has leveraged on her extensive knowledge from her various fields of endeavors and vast wealth of experience in creating a thriving organization under a highly competitive and tough industry environment.
Recognized and well respected for her sterling leadership quality, discipline, and consistent hard work, Taiwo remains a beacon of light in her chosen field, embracing fairness, equity, and justice. She is also a firm advocate in gender equality.
Taiwo was the CEO of NESBITT Investment Nigeria Limited, until her appointment in 2020 as the Managing Director of PAN Nigeria Limited.
Interestingly, she is the first female CEO of PAN Nigeria in its 51 years of existence.
General Manager, Strategy and Planning
Omagbitse Bawo holds a B.Sc. Economics degree of the University of Ibadan (1979) and an MBA Finance degree of the University of Port Harcourt (1982). He is an active member of the Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants and affiliated to the Institute of Forensic Accountants. Bawo had served as Senior Vice President, Retail Banking, Bank PHB Plc. and General Manager, Corporate Planning and Investments at Habib Nigeria Bank Plc. with responsibilities for strategic planning, corporate transformation and coordination, and performance measurement. In a long banking career, he worked variously as Group Head, Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Head, Credit and Marketing, accumulating considerable experience in marketing and business development, organizational coordination, planning, risk management, performance monitoring and measurement, and wealth creation. Bawo's long term interests are in economic development and poverty reduction in the poor countries of the world. His hobbies include football, international cricket, tennis, chess, athletics and adventure.
Group Head, Corporate Services
Abdulkadir Yinusa is the Group Head, Corporate Services. He is a certified HR practitioner, financial economist, adviser and consultant. He attended primary and secondary schools and then proceeded for his tertiary education at the University of Abuja.
Abdulkadir has over 20 years’ experience in the finance sector and corporate world. He has been involved in several projects such as establishment of finance houses and provision of financial advisory services to SMEs and start-up businesses.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master degree in Financial Economics. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, a member of the Institute of Corporate Administration, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered System Accountants (USA).
Group Head, Finance
John Olayiwola Akanmu is the Group Head, Finance. He holds an HND in Accounting from the reputable Bida Polytechnic in 1998. In 2001, he enrolled for the professional examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November,2006. He also attended the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for a master’s degree in accounting in 2016.
John trained with Ernst & Young Osindero Oni (Chartered Accountants) between 1995 and 1998. After his National Youth Service in 1999, he was employed by National Trucks Manufacturers in Kano and later joined ARDO Plastics Limited in Kaduna (Now ARDO OIL & GAS) where he worked for seven years between 2000 to 2007 before resigning to join PAN Nigeria Limited in 2007. Over the years, John has held such positions as Head, Financial Accounts & Tax and Head, Internal Audit. He has attended various courses including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
He is recognized as a seasoned professional with more than 20 years’ experience. John is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Registered Professional of Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
Group Head, Operations and Technical
Oladapo Babatunde Ojo is the Group Head, Operations and Technical, PAN Nigeria Limited. Born on January 19, 1969, he attended secondary school at Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, Oyo state between 1980-1985. He holds an HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and PGD in Management Science. He joined the services of PAN Nigeria Limited as a Quality Local Content Acceptation and Reception Officer in October 1993 after his National Youth Service at Northern Cable Processing and Manufacturing Company Limited, Kaduna. He became the senior officer, Quality Evaluation and Analysis between 1998-2003. He was transferred to the Production Department as the Group Leader of the Body shop in 2003 after piloting the successful implementation of Production Systems Monitoring Plan. He was also the Group Leader of the Assembly Shop between 2006-2012 and became the Head of Production between 2012-2020. He has attended training on Automotive production processes, Quality control in PSA Factories and Operations Management Courses. He is an alumnus of the Polytechnic Ibadan and Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho, Oyo state. He is also a member of the Automotive Engineers Institute (AutoEI).
Ag. Company Secretary
Adekemi Adebayo, LL.B, B.L, ACIS, graduated in 2011 with an LL.B (Hons.) Law degree from Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State. She is a Governance Practitioner and a Certified Chartered Secretary and currently an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN).
Adekemi has years of private legal practice spanning the litigation and corporate sector. She served as the Senior Legal Officer at PAN before she was appointed as Ag, Company Secretary/Legal Adviser.
