PAN Nigeria exhibits genuine auto spare parts
PAN Nigeria Limited ran a week long exhibition designed to further highlight and propagate the strategic importance of the use of genuine automotive spare parts among individual and fleet owners of Peugeot brands.
The historic event took place within the Company’s 800 square metre floor. It provided a valuable platform to showcase range of Peugeot auto spare parts at the maiden edition.
While providing an insight, during his welcome address, into the rationale behind the exhibition, Ibrahim Boyi, Managing Director and Chief Executive of PAN Nigeria Limited, reiterated PAN’s leadership in the local automobile industry.
He stated that the Peugeot brand of vehicles which have been running on Nigerian roads for several decades have played a fundamental role in nation building. He added that the Brand understood the need for effective after sales service, where every Peugeot vehicle is adequately supported. To provide the right assurances, Peugeot spare parts purchased from accredited distributors nationwide come with warranty.
According to the Chief Executive, the fair was a campaign against the use of fake and substandard spare parts. More importantly, with Peugeot’s regimental price control, end-users are assured of low cost of vehicle ownership.
He described the fair as an expo of PAN hidden treasures of over six thousand spare parts, ranging from the classic 504 brand new engine to the latest Peugeot 3008 that won over 40 global awards.
On his part, Bawo Omagbitse, General Manager in charge of sales and strategy, described the fair as a national campaign for pervasive use of genuine spare parts, a push for national acceptance of quality offering and drive for standardization of trade practices from PAN’s perspective. He described the spare parts event as a brand specific exhibition.
According to the Kaduna Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) represented at the event by Galadanchi, the Sector Operations Commander, he commended the organizers, stating that it was first of its kind in his over 20 year experience in the commission.
‘’It is ‘work for humanity’ considering how many lives are lost annually on Nigerian roads due to fake and Tokumbo parts”, the FRSC official stated. He then urged Nigerians to always buy genuine parts from accredited dealers to save lives.
While the event lasted, PAN welcomed large number of Peugeot enthusiasts, spare parts dealers, FRSC officials, members of Kaduna state Chambers of Trade and Commerce, other relevant stakeholders to a unique experience that offered visitors ambience of a world class arena, fashioned in ten boutique cubicles and well- manned by friendly attendants all branded in Peugeot outfit.
